We had another wonderful Destin Photography session with the LaRusso family at Henderson Beach State Park. Destin provides so many opportunities for photography and Henderson Beach State Park is such a favorite for our clients. The state park provides convenient access but fantastic beaches and amazing sunsets.

The LaRusso family came here from Arkansas to visit our amazing beaches in Destin, Florida. They were staying in Sandestin so we decided to meet up at Henderson Beach State Park for a sunset session. Here are some reasons why I LOVE shooting at Henderson Beach State Park, and being a photographer in Destin – There is 6,000 feet of shoreline (so even when it seems like everyone is getting beach portraits done there is always room), there is also 6 huge pavilions that make super cool backdrops for pictures, a nature trail adds a good mix of scenery, the playground there keeps kids entertained, there is always parking, and the beach is stunning! It is a little more protected than some of the other beaches since it is a Florida State Park and the dunes are amazing here! Lots of natural greenery stand out so well against the stark white sand.

The LaRosso family went with a really classic, clean look. White and khaki is always a beach favorite. The two younger girls had fun ankle bracelets on that adds a fun personal touch to the outfits. They were all so sweet and a joy to work with! They all said they were definitely coming back to Florida. I love capturing these special family moments!
