For most of our family, and a lot of people come to think of it, today is wrap-up day. My husband will be wrapping up a very long week at work and will be looking to cool down from all of life’s business. For many,Friday marks the start of a weekend of fun, bbq’s, some time spent on the boat and/or fishing (or whatever their favorite pastime happens to be)..

More than likely we will be doing much of the same as all of the other families this weekend. We have swim lessons for both our children on Saturday morning at 9am. At some point in the weekend we will head over to the local waterpark and spend a few hours having a blast. Its summer so I’m pretty sure our grill will come out.

I’m a photographer in Destin, Florida so that means I’m also working. Friday is always a little extra busy because we also work on Saturday and Sunday. What we get done Friday determines how much we have to work the following two days along with any weekend shoots.

Today, we had a planning session with my team. We have a session tonight, like many nights, in Destin.

As I pause for a bit of writing, my marketing/sales manager is sitting on our couch building an entry for our Instagram story. My assistant is sitting at the counter researching something special (we haven’t announced yet.. coming soon!).

Today is a busy day. Because it is Friday, we are planning our activities for the next week – and beginning planning for Fall…hard to believe how fast summer is flying by!
