We have had a beautiful season so far on already amazing beaches in Destin, Florida. While we get our occasional storms the paradise always wins out.

Henderson Beach State Park, in Destin, FL, is always an amazing location whether as a visitor as for family photo sessions. No matter how long you visit the Emerald Coast I highly recommend setting aside some time to visit this amazing State Park. Sunsets here are amazing and words cannot capture the experience and really is just one of the many highlights of the Emerald Coast.

Can’t believe it’s already July (I love this time of year though so no complaints here!). Here at Tiffany Sims we photograph lots of vacationers. Texas always sends in a heavy flow of clients each year. The Nance family is one of those clients that hail from Texas! It’s so great to see these families just jump straight into Destin life. One day in and they could be locals. This family booked a vacation rental in Destin Florida so we met at Henderson Beach State Park and took photos there. Mom and dad were great to work with and their kids were all stunning! Having triplets must have kept these folks very, very busy (I get tired just thinking about it). They had on beautiful patriotic clothing and man! Were they all photogenic!

I love how varying the sky is each sunset, tonights was a little cloudy in Destin but I love the taupe color of it with the blue water and white sand. Very striking.

Had fun, relaxing 4th with my family. I needed the down time spent with them but now I’m back to shooting + editing. Anyone else stay up WAY too late editing sessions? Luckily, because of the natural beauty of our beaches here, it doesn’t take too much. The beaches along 30a like Grayton or Alys beach are absolutely stunning, there are always things to do there too. Destin beaches like Crabtrap or Crystal are local favorites. And last but not least, Fort Walton Beach (often just called “The Island”) is great if the Midbay bridge is clogged or you want to catch some great waves—the sand bars create beautiful sets almost everyday.
