I’ve been lucky to know Sandra for some time now; she is an associate of my sister’s, and has always been a delight to interact with.  It was a pleasure to get better acquainted with Sandra and her lovely husband Don during this photo session. Can you tell how much fun we had?

Sandra and Don are planning a second photo shoot to include their fur babies, who weren’t allowed on this beach. Keep your eyes out for that one…if their dogs are half as fun-loving and entertaining as Sandra and Don, it should be a good one!

Henderson Beach State Park

Because Sandra and Don live locally, we were able to spend time at Henderson Beach State Park, one of my favorite locations to work at.  Henderson Beach State Park is a majestic snow white shoreline nestled along a protected strip of the Emerald Coast along Hwy 98. Henderson Beach doesn’t just have pretty scenery, but also has incredible camping, fishing and nature trails.  They picked their colors well and the weather cooperated beautifully, so the sand and the sky really compliment them. They live on the Bay, so look for another photo shoot with the pups soon!

Sandra is one of the funniest people I know, and I think I captured some of that here. I promised to hold back some of the sillier photos I took, but they both warmed up immediately and were able to take lovely, candid shots with me. I love traditional, posed portraits, but I think these moments of natural connection between couples are some of the best images. Sandra and Don’s love is evident throughout these photos!
