Destin Photographer – Henderson Beach | Rice Family Portraits

I had the pleasure of photographing the Rice family at Henderson Beach State Park recently, just next to The Henderson Resort & Spa. The Rice family drove from Kentucky for their vacation in Destin.  Kristen and Stuart and their sons Carver and Sawyer were a joy to be around. Kristen and Stuart’s sweet romance clearly shows in the pictures of just the two of them, as does their boys’ great attitude and kind natures.

Henderson Beach State Park is one of my favorite places to shoot as it is located right next to the Henderson Beach Resort & Spa, but also because the beach access on the west side is less crowded. It’s always easier to photograph kids & families when there’s less distractions involved! White sand dunes and bright gulf waters offer lovely backgrounds, and Kristen and Stuart certainly took advantage of that in their blue and white attire.

While there are plenty of activities to entertain adults and kids at the Resort in Destin, its proximity to the State Park is also a wonderful amenity. You can find tranquility on this pristine undeveloped shoreline. I’m certain the Rice family was pleased with their decision to spend time here.
